Sender ID Guidelines

The UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) mandates that businesses register all traffic for sending SMS to clients in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to reduce the danger of SMS spam. All alpha sender IDs must have the brand name as it is case-sensitive. |
Numeric Sender ID | Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless posed by Reson8 2-way service. |
Generic Sender ID | Generic sender IDs such as DATA, INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc are not allowed. |
As per the UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) regulatory policy, the Sender IDs that remain dormant for more than 6 months will be deactivated.
